Henderson’s Blackburn deal needs late move

hENDERSONWest Ham have this morning ( Mon) revealed  that a deal which would have seen goalkeeper Stephen Henderson join Blackburn Rovers has broken down.
Speculation on the internet has been that the stopper – who is totally out of favour at Upton Park  – was on his way to Ewood Park.
Such a move would have released around another £20,000 a week  into the wage pot.
But ClaretandHugh was told exclusively last night that although talks had indeed been held, the deal had now broken down and was off unless there were late moves to rescue it.
Our source said: “It looked as though it was going to happen but it now appears to be dead.”
