Hernandez in back to his roots link

Javier Hernandez could return to his roots this summer with a move back to his first club  – Chivas.

Chicharito looks certain for a move out of the Hammers and the Mexican outfit are reported to be keen on offering him a six month deal although there is big interest from the MLS.

The striker’s only hope of remaining at the Hammers looks likely to be on the back of a manager other than David Moyes who, like his predecessor Slaven Bilic, has had big problems accommodating him in the team.

Now ESPN is reporting that Chivas want to bring in Hernandez, 29, on a six-month loan after seeing the former Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen man used as an impact sub this season.

Hernandez and his advisers have been busily looking for a club for the past couple of months but the Chivas link looks unlikely with the Irons wanting a decent fee to add to the transfer kitty.
