|

ahmedAccording to the Telegraph and the Daily Mail, Hull City player Ahmed Elmohamady is on West Ham’s list of possible right back targets for the January transfer window.

Although Sam Byram is returning from injury there is need for an experienced right back with Álvaro Arbeloa likely to paid off and released during the transfer window.

The 29-year-old Hull right-back has played 203 matches for the Tigers, including 23 this season, and the struggling side will be desperate to keep the Egypt international at least for the rest of the campaign. He jetted off to join his team mates in Egypt training camp after Hull’s match against West Brom on 2nd January.

Other right backs targets thought to be in the same list include Arsenal’s Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy, Spurs’ Kieran Trippier, Wolves Dominic Iorfa, Stoke’s Glenn Johnson and Liverpool’s Jon Flanagon currently on loan to Burnley.
