A big majority of happy Hammers fans reckon the club are destined to finish in either seventh or eighth position this season.
With the summer spending all but over there’s huge optimism that this time real progress is on the cards at the London Stadium.
ClaretandHugh’s latest poll asked where the supporters though we would finish next season and nearly 3,000 of you cast your votes.
Seventh or eighth position was the most popular choice with a total of 1459 (49.86% of the vote) going for that option.
Unsurprisingly in view of that, 22.86% (669) plumped for ninth or tenth place and 16.06% (470) reckon we will finish either fifth or sixth.
A hugely hopeful 105 voters (3.59%) we will finish as Champions and another 60 (2.05%) think we are runners-up material.
Only around 6% believe we will be out of the top 10 with just 75 (probably supporters of other clubs 🙂 thinking we will be relegated.
I was one of the majority to go for 7th or 8th, I think it will take us a while to establish a new pattern of play and for the new players to gel as a team, out of curiosity Hugh where do you think we will finish and why 🙂 ?
I think it will only be fair for us the absolute optimistic Irons to get something great done for us by the club if we win the league (as we have forseen).
