Irons linked with Celtic striker

StokesWest Ham are being linked with Celtic’s Anthony Stokes!

The strker  is reportedly a target for a number of Premier League sides, after falling out of favour under new manager Ronny Deila.

According to Goal.com the Hammers have joined his former club Sunderland, and Queens Park Ranger in pursuing the player.

Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City, Fulham and Derby County are also said to be among the teams assessing Stokes’s situation.

The 26-year-old scored 21 goals in 2013-14 are sure to have a number of clubs interested in his services if he does indeed opt to return to English football.

  1. Stokes will be on trial in ireland. Case was considered serious enough for a higher court to deal with meaning a lengthy jail term is a possibility if found guilty. He is accused of a serious assault. I dont think he will be signing for anyone until that is dealt with
