Irons unlikely to trigger release clause

|

Oxford-604905Reece Oxford could be recalled from Borussia Monchengladbach in January because the teenager has not played enough games … but it is highly unlikely tey will exercise that option

Oxford’s loan deal with the Bundesliga club has a clause claiming he had to make seven appearances for with the club  to avoid the break clause being activated, but he has only appeared three times.

Now David Moyes will decide closer whether to bring him back to West Ham but give he has just broken into the team it doesn’t seem likely to January whether to have the youngster return to Rush Green so he can take a closer look.

Oxford’s German debut came as a late sub in October but his second and third appearances in the German top flight both came in the last week, with him starting both.

As reported here earlier today (Sun) there is no chance of him being sold to ‘Gladbach as speculated some media outlets.

I think Moyes should bring him back to Rush Green he has said we we need midfielders & Oxford can & has played in that position at the moment he is only playing when someone is out injured I think Moyes would be able to push him to step up his game to be a regular in the first team & it save us buying someone.

Let him finish the season at Gladbach, make him train and play with the first team next season. Him, Burke and Rice are part of the interesting future of West Ham.
As for the midfield reinforcements, I can not stress enough Dendoncker would be a great addition. Also N’Zonzi is rumoured to want to leave Sevilla so maybe that is another one for the midfield ?

He wants to leave Sun & would love Jim physical but Arsenal Liverpool others want him. Tho he would be great tall physical tackler but aslo great passer.

Im all for Ox staying he looked great in CM role but only of he continues to start & play they only have 1 game left before break.
But just don’t sell him he is worth more then £6m & is playing in top league in position (2-3 count RB & CB) that we need. But I think DM might be his best role.

Oh, Mascherano is also with desire to move on from Barcelona. Wouldn’t it be funny if he ended up here ?
