Iron’s ‘wake up call’ welcomed at the club

Diafra-Sakho-315346David Gold has confirmed ClaretandHugh’s update that Diafra Sakho is on his way back to full time West Ham duty.

Controversial Sak has some proving to do after his recent behaviour ahead of a failed move to West Brom and Gold has made it clear the player is working very hard.

Updating his fitness position to Twitter he said: “Diafra Sakho is training hard to regain the right level of fitness so he can rejoin the main squad. dg.”

We understand too that Sak is showing a very big change of attitude and is determined to put his reputation for hissy fits behind him.

A source clse to the training ground said: “We are seeing a changed character. He really seems to understand that he needs to be a lot more relational.

“It’s good to see. The failed medical was a blow to him at the time as it would be for any professional but it appears to have acted very much as a wake up call and it’s good to see.”

  1. This is significant only in the depth of the club spin applied to this subject, which clearly is necessary for both parties to get through the fall out from this matter. However in reality Sakho turning over a new leaf is as likely as Slaven Bilic giving up smoking. Expect him to go come Sept 1st or a new episode to be published in this Victoriam melodrama by New Year. The bigger question will be whether it’s at the club or a street near you.

  2. Welcomed news , if it’s true .

  3. Well, we’ll see. Can a leopard change its spots? Maybe he can. If he really does, then once he’s proved himself, he should get a pay rise, or i suspect the running sore will open again.
i am so pleased it blew up in his face as his attitude stank.
Whichever, right now, he owes everyone, including the fans, a massive apology. Also, there are some VERY talented strikers to complete with. Even at his best, he wouldn’t now necessarily walk into the team.
Time for him to show the attitude of Noble or Antonio. He has THE perfect role models right on his doorstep.
Personally, he makes me sick, but I am OK with giving him a chance if he is genuinely sorry and demonstrates it.

  4. I sincerely hope that the purpose of getting him fit is so he still has market value. He should have been sacked for his behaviour as anyone in any other job would have been had the acted in this way. In my eyes he is on a par with Defoe and Ince except they had the excuse of being young, poorly advised and we had got relegated. Amalfitano is probably unimpressed at the way he was treated by Bilic compared to what’s happening here.

  5. Sorry Sak your behavior is unacceptable and ill NEVER forgive you NEVER EVER ……

unless you bang in the goals again and do the crossed hammers sign 🙂

  6. I knew I liked Kebab ; )

  7. These comments demonstrate how much he has upset the fans.
I was surprised Bilic didn’t do an Amalfitano on him, as Sak completely undermined Bilic’s authority.
Maybe Bilic is under pressure from the owners not to lose value on Sak. If so, the owners would be undermining Bilic. Unlikely, as Bilic seems genuinely sympathetic to Sak.
IMO, like the Antonio RB debacle, I find not making an example of Sak, completely inexplicable…. in Bilic we trust? Not blindly for me.
It will take a LOT of proven change for me to forgive Sak…

    • Yes all 4 of them ??
None of them talk for me or any other who welcome the news !
Bit of a euphoric claim that fishes , ?
Time to move on and accept that he’s back ,
Only time will prove the club right or wrong in this clair Raynor script ?
