Proud ClaretandHugh Facebook Group member Jamie Moore was thrilled to see his son Jude handed Dimi Payet’s shirt after the game at Blackburn Rovers.

The brilliant midfielder made a B line for the Hammers fans at the end of the 5-1 victory and there was a really special moment in store of Moore jnr.

His Dad explained on the group site this evening: ” It was his first away game today. Amazingly we stayed at the same hotel as the players so he got to meet them all.

Dimitri had already signed his shirt and obviously spotted him and recognised him from the hotel, that’s why he picked him out. What a man!”

Indeed Jamie- there’s more to this man than just a mesmerising pair of feet – obviously a great compassionate and caring individual.

Really pleased for you Jude and proud Dad.
