Lanzini Bolton murmur

|

A Lanzini C&HThere’s a continuous murmur going on that Manu Lanzini could feature in the League Cup match on Tuesday evening.

The midfielder is now back in full training with the first team and whilst he is not of course match fit there’s an outside chance that manager Slaven Bilic will give him a run out against Bolton Wanderers.

The manager himself said that it could be another week or two before he features but training ground sources claim they would not be surprised if he got a cameo role against the Championship side in Tuesday night’s League Cup match.e in

The playmaker has beeen sorely missed this season as he provides the pace and guile which has been so badly missing from the squad.

His involvement could depend on match conditions and Bilic knows he may need to be brave in including him in the squad.

Likely team: Adrian, Byram, Reid, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Rice, Noble, Antonio, Arnautovic, Ayew, Sakho

We really need him against Tinpot.

I would play Hernandez and Sakho but you are probably right, maybe even start Holland for the creativity.

Agree I would like to see Chic and Sahko as a front 2 bc Sahko may be petulant child but he wants to play and is a very good rounded striker I think him and Chicarito would make a good front 2 with his pace and Chicas poaching. Worried w AC fit we will waste Chicarito’s talents.
But would like Holland as well he has been great in preseason and PL2 and also would like to see this Sead lad play.atleat on the bench bc we need a creative mid.
And Rice is a must I’m worried Slav will do the same he did w Ox after he played great against Arsenal and then had bad game at Spurs and pulled off never played again. O hope pulling Rice off at Newcastle wony end up the same. Especially w a Back 3 and Ginge Injured he would be great on right of Reid so he can come out an pass
