Manu Lanzini has issued a timely tweet to ease the anxieties of Hammers everywhere.
Injured in pre-season, the Argentine playmaker is on his way back – hopefully to form a positive link with Javier Hernandez who should thrive on the sevice he supplies.
Things are starting to look a lot better on the injury front and Manu has revealed that he is now back and training with the first team.
Whether this will see him in action at Newcastle is probably doubtful although a squad place could be on the cards.
Manu rarely ventures onto the social network so it was great to see him alerting everybody to the good news as we also await the return of Cheik Kouyate who is being tipped for the trip to Newcastle.
Lanzini simply said: “Happy to be back with the group” which probably represents the best news we will get today!
Even if he is just named as a sub and comes on for 15 minutes, that will be a great fillip for everyone. Saturday was gutting, but the second half showed some great resilience. Everything is there, and it’s just a case of that one element of good fortune turning it sunny side up.

It needs to be a convincing win over Cheltenham though .
