London Stadium head groundsman appointed

WIlliamsOperators London Stadium 185 have appointed former Swansea groundsman James Williams as the new head groundsman of the London Stadium.

Williams who already worked at the former Olympic Stadium takes over from Reading fan Greg Bolton who leaves next week. Greg spent twelve years at Reading FC before joining Fulham in 2014.  He was appointed Head Groundsman of the London Stadium in March last year and leaves after just 18 months in post to move to Norwich with his family.

The stadium operators are now advertising for a deputy groundsman for the London Stadium after Deputy Head Groundsman also left over the summer to take up a consultancy role for Desso Grassmaster pitches.
