Major Chicharito injury scare

chicJavier Herandez pulled up in training at Rush Green yesterday and was immediately sent to the hospital for a scan by worried West Ham medical staff.

Chicharito did not return to training today with the rest of the first team squad and remains a doubt for Friday night.

This afternoon he joined Slaven Bilic and Mark Noble to meet Princes William and Harry at the London Stadium with a big smile on his face.

It remains to be seen whether Chicharito will be back with the squad tomorrow and whether he will pass a fitness test for Friday night’s game at the London Stadium against Brighton.

A source close to club confirmed the Mexican pulled up in training on Tuesday and was sent for a scan but said it was too early to say whether he would be fit for the game against Brighton and Hove Albion.

  1. Sakho and the pea up top ! Another bilic escape !! Ffs ?
What’s the chances of Martinez coming in ? Naaaa it will be ayew more than likely !!
Cursed with injury’s , pulled up or tripped up 😉

  2. I am not sure we would have seen both up top Laz more likely one up with Lanzini behind Obiang And Kouyate in centre mid with Arnie and Antonio out wide the back 5 the same despite Cresswell having been poor most of the season.

  3. Looks like a good team 32.

  4. I’d like to think Bilic would go all out, given that we’re at home, by playing both Sak and Hernandez up top, with Lanzini behind and Arnie and Antonio either side. Obiang is a baller and can play out from the back as our holding midfielder. Sorry, but Kouyate has been poor this season by his previous standards, and i think he needs a rest.

  5. I’d have Arhur in for Cressy though.

    • So would I Mooro but I don’t think Bilic will and also because Cressie got his England game I think he would be reluctant to drop him. My favourite formation if all the players are fit would be Adrian, Masuaku, Reid, Rice, Zabaletta, Arnie, Obiang, Lanzini, Antonio, Sakho and Hernandez. I am not sure Rice is a better defender than Fonte at present but I would like to see him given a chance, he is a genuine ball carrying defender and whats more he would be the fastest in the back four, it would also give us the flexibility to switch between 442 and 352 3 5 2 with Masuaku and Antonio as wing backs if the situation demanded it, not that I want to see Antonio played that way.

  6. No need for 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 ! 3 -5-2 is a better balance for me especially at home and that let’s obiang and kouyate to play , the problem is will we see sakho and pea or sakho and ayew or Antonio and ayew? 😉 I ain’t got a clue how bilic thinks lol!!
