West Ham’s under 23s are having a magical season.

Many have been reaining with the first team squad in international week and according to Mark Noble have really added to the intnsity on the training pitch

Ronight you have a chance to run the rule over the youngsters at the London Stadium on Friday evening (kick off 7pm) although Natha Holland and Josh Pask are set to miss the game against Derby County through injury..

The under 23s a could jump from fourth to second place with a win . It may only be for a day with second-placed Everton playing Liverpool on Saturday, and Leicester – in third – meeting Sunderland on Monday.

But our youngsters are in an outstanding position following last season’s promotion and are well worth a look so get to the Stadium if you can.

They have had  two comfortable wins – including a 4-2 victory over Manchester United last time out in which Toni Martinez became the first Hammer to score a hat-trick – and one draw.
