Manuel Lanzini posted on social media that is he is back but unfortunately, he means he is back in training at Rush green and not back in the squad yet available for selection. The Argentinian player sent a message to his followers saying ‘I’m back’ with ‘Come on you Irons’ and the hashtag ready.

However, Slaven Bilic has already confirmed the game comes too early for a return of the midfielder who scored the only goal in the same London derby fixture back in May when West Ham came off 1-0 winners over Spurs at the London Stadium.

Yesterday Bilic told reporters “Lanzini has started training with us, with the team, but Saturday is way too early for him.”

Lanzini is expected to make his return at the end of September for the home game against Swansea City which will be the Hammers first home game at the traditional 3pm Saturday kick-off.
