Mario linked with Spurs, Everton and Bournemouth

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, former Hammer Joao Mario has interest from Everton and Bournemouth.

The Portuguese spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham which technically finished 4 days ago but despite an initial interest in retaining him, the Milan based newspaper report they are no longer interested while reporting that both Everton and Bournemouth have enquired about his availability.

Inter Milan are looking to get around 20 to 25m Euros (£17.5m-£22m) for the want-away midfielder.

Other reports within the media have suggested Inter could look to use the 25-year-old as a makeweight in another deal, such as one that would help Inter acquire number one midfield target Mousa Dembele from Spurs.

Joao Mario arrived at Inter in the summer of 2016 in one of the most expensive transfers in Inter history but ultimately failed to live up to his price-tag and recently gave a scathing review of his time at Inter wherein he confirmed he would not be returning and wants out of the club.

  1. It has also been suggested elsewhere Sean that Husillos has offered 8 million euros and to pay his full salary and image rights for another season long loan deal ? I hope we resign him, he is a quality player and we are short on those.

  2. Sorry to say but it’s looking like all t of talk and no action AGAIN pre season has started and we hadn’t got a clue what we are doing ..we can’t even sign a player who was in loan with us and who is a decent player at a very reasonable price …sorry but if we loose out
first 2\3 games you wil! See it all crumble due t o the ineptitude of our owners AGAIN. Hope not but outlooks like it’s all talk again..weeks are just drifting by with no need of anything they reAlly are absolute mugs…
