Mark Noble: ‘We are all ready to get down to work’

Mark Noble says West Ham players are ready to get down to work at the start of their pre-season training.

Speaking to WHUFC.com before flying to Switzerland yesterday Nobes said:

“All the lads have come back fresh from the summer break and are all ready to get down to work”

“It’s my 15th pre-season as a West Ham player, but it feels like my first! I love meeting up with the boys again and getting out there on the pitch, so we’re all looking ahead to our time in Switzerland and showing the new manager what we can do.

“The hotel we are staying in and the facilities we will be using are top-class and I’m sure we’ll make good use of them over the next couple of weeks.”

The West Ham squad met up at Rush Green yesterday morning for breakfast and their first meeting with new manager Manuel Pellegrini and his backroom team. All players were weighed and measured with blood and cardiac testing completed to ensure the squad are in good shape.

  1. Mark Noble: ‘We are all ready to get down to work’ ok mark now and go and take the coffee order and set the cones out on the training pitch, because you wont be kicking a ball this season unless its off the bench, or the 2 london derbies you manage to get pumped up for each season.

  2. better not work too hard, with hald the wondow gone and only 4 weeks left with the gaping holes that remain in our squad the last thing we want is anyone picking up an injury
