Morrison remanded in custody

Ravel MorrisonAccording to Manchester Evening news reporter John Scheerhout West Ham player Ravel Morrison has been remanded in custody on charges he assaulted his ex girlfriend and her mother. He is alleged to have slapped and punched his former partner before punching her mother. He entered no plea and only spoke to confirm his name during the hearing at Manchester magistrates court this afternoon. Wearing a white t-shirt and white tracksuit bottoms in the dock of court 6, Morrison was told his case would be adjourned for one week so he will be remanded in custody. It sis claimed Morrison closed his eyes and puffed his cheeks out after being refused bail. District Judge James Prowse refused a bail application made by Morrison’s solicitor Ros Emsley-Smith. He was hand cuffed and taken back to his cell to be transferred to a prison. District Judge Prowse told him: “You are remanded in custody to appear back before this court by video-link from prison one week from today on August 7.”

  1. Manchester is not a good place for Ravel to hang out, thought he was meant to be wiping the slate clean in London – but who can tell a 21 year old what he can or cannot do?!

If we are spending all this money on AC injuries, I would hope Ravel has been or will get counselling to help with his problems…. Or has it gone too far and Big Sam has been right all along? Is this the end of a promising career before its even started really? I hope not 🙁

  2. What an idiot – is he really worth all the hassle that comes along with him?

I’ve never been all that impressed with him – he shows glimpses of brilliance and then appears disinterested – I thought that when I first saw him playing for Birmingham and my view hasn’t changed!

So my verdict, for what it’s worth, is that no he is not worth all the hassle – let someone else try and get his head screwed on correctly they’re welcome to him – West Ham have enough problems without this spoilt brat!
