Moyes in passionate unity plea

|

west-ham-fans-bubblesDavid Moyes has made a passionate appeal for the  fans to unite in order to give the team every chance of beating Leicester City.

Against a week long backdrop of protest and unrest among the supporters Moyes – like many – is hoping the fans can put the unrest to bed for 90 minutes at least as he takes his place in the London Stadium dug out for the first time.

Speaking at his pre-match presser he said: I want everybody to be together and united. I want the fans behind us and I want the team to have every chance of winning.

West Ham have always had a really vocal support. I was always looking forward to get away from Upton Park after games because of how tough it was. They want our team to play well.

“What we’ve got to do is build. We’ve got to be all together and whatever happens affects us all.”

Nobody goes to rant Moyes , noble. Carroll ,zabba , etc etc , we go to support our team and expect you to do the best for the club ! Keep picking the tortoise in m/f and playing hoof ball will be a failure on you’re part , yes you’re hands are tied till Jan ? Maybe ? But if those players don’t come to the table then they will get criticised ,not abused ! its about graft at present and if its confidence thats the problem tell them to man up or get out the club !
As stated we go to see our team play football ! Give us some , win or lose and were happy that we tried either way ! Buck stops with the players. ! Were supposed to be the best team in years ( not in my book ) so tell the pampered elite to pull their finger out ffs !

Give him 10 matches before we begin the usual ‘[Enter Manager Name] out’ crap. Please…

We used to back our managers, and I took pride in the low number of managers we have had. A club that doesn’t hire and fire the moment things get a bit tough, like other clubs did. I thought we were better than that – firmer and tougher. But now we’re just descending into the same whining, greedy, unrealistic, impatient, ignorant fans that I’ve always looked down on with pride…

Whatever your thoughts on what’s going on, they’re just a bunch of young lads. Relax.

Well said Buddy I am hoping Moyes can give us a shape with and without the ball but it will take time and we have to do it whilst low on confidence, not an easy task.

We started going down the to my managers road the day we dumped tradition and sacked lyall ! All but a brief time under bonzo and redknapp its been dire ? Proof is in the amount we’ve had and time that they have been consumed !! West ham are to blame for that ! I once asked lyall at the last reunion before his death why he was let go and his reply was he had no idea ! Gayle was present and I asked him the same question ! No one knows he said ?
    Only the mob upstairs ??
Now all this crap ! Its never ending is it !! 😉

As a ‘news’ website, I’m surprised you haven’t given any mention to Andy and Micky’s podcast over on the Real West Ham Fans Facebook page?!?
On second thoughts, perhaps I’m not!
