Moyes is singing Hart’s praises

|

David Moyes appears to be hanging his hat on the belief that Joe Hart is a great goalkeeper.

The West Ham manager was talking up the Manchester City loanee after the game which was undoubtedly another top effort from him.

Moyes appears to believe he should remain the England No 1 at the World Cup in Russia which may raise a few eyebrows among the Hammers faithful given a very uncertain season.

Speaking after the game against Arsenal Moyes declared: “Joe made two brilliant saves, well done to him for maybe a difficult week for him.

“I think Joe’s saves against Chelsea and those saves today were terrific. I think it’s whether England decide they need a really experienced keeper.

“I worked with Jordan Pickford who I think is really, really good so I think it’s whether you think in some of these games you need someone who’s more experienced, I think Joe gives you that.

“He made a mistake during the week. Joe knew that, we knew that but he went today and he played very well.”

Obviously he is answering a question about Hart playing for England.
He never once says he should play for England, let alone be the number 1.

Moyes made the big mistake praising him before last Monday’s match, think we know he is definitely not England class any longer.
