Moyes looks up front at Huddersfield

|

“If we can get a few wins away from home it’ll make our job a lot easier.

“We’ve got players who need service, Chicharito, Carroll, Ayew needs it to feet so we need to make sure we give them the best service.”

Marko Arnautovic will be back for us but Michail will be missing along almost certainly with Winston Reid who will struggle to play a part.

Huddersfield  boss David Wagner insists his players need to show a much better performance than when defeated 2-0 at the London Stadium.

He said: “The West Ham game was one of those where we really under-performed. We expected more from ourselves and it is something we’d like to correct because we are better than we showed there.

“We want to show a different face than the first game and we will try to do this in front of our home crowd.”

I’d like to see Chicharito (in particular) getting more service with ground passes into the box.
He and Arnie need to press high, with lots of service from Lanzini.
Not sure what the best fit is for Ayew and Carroll, except to say that we must not make Andy a lone-wolf single striker-must play with 2 strikers.

Perhaps Moyes will take a chance and put Hernandes in Antonios place. Bilic tried to play Hernandes and one other behind a lone striker but the 2 supporting players ended up as isolated wingers. Moyes will tell them to get closer to Arnie and support him and feed off him. It will work methinks.
