Moyes wants change but hints it may not be wanted

|

David Moyes addressed what may be his final post match press conference following the fabulous victory over his former club Everton and declared: “My contract is up at midnight – then I’m on the streets.”

With speculation over his future creating as many and more words as his team’s performance in the final game of the season,  he was dropping some heavy hints about his position.

He said: ” I have a really good relationship with the board and we talk regularly. I’d like to change things but maybe not everybody is always happy with change.”

His team’s attacking display against former Hammers boss Sam Allardyce’s outfit was a response from the Scot which will give the board much food for thought as they go into a series of interviews with potential new managers.

Unai Emery is a favourite for the job although there has been speculation that he may be seeing the Hammers co chairman David Sullivan whilst en route to Arsenal where the north London are looking for an Arsene Wenger replacement.
