Murphy lays boot into Mark Noble

Danny_Murphy_MOTDFormer Liverpool, Spurs and Fulham player Danny Murphy says West Ham season will improve this season but claims the midfield is not strong suggesting Mark Noble is nearing the end of his career.

Writing a column in the London Evening Standard Murphy says: “I know West Ham have had a very difficult start to the season, but I honestly think they will be OK. It is not easy when you have to play your first three league games on the road, as they had to do because the world athletics championships were being held at the London Stadium.

If you look at the squad, they have made themselves much better.

Marko Arnautovic has flair and can create chances and score goals from nothing. Joe Hart remains one of the best English goalkeepers. Perhaps the midfield is not as strong as it might be. Mark Noble is a fine player but he is coming towards the end, but I am confident they have enough to ensure a solid season.”

  1. Just about everyone in football can see that Noble is way past it and is a liability . He is far too slow and cumbersome …. don’t get me started .. HE IS AWFUL … if only Bilic could see it . If he loves the club so much he should retire or move on … Bilic + Noble = bottom 4 all season .

    COYI

  2. Watch it Murphy ? Hell run you over in his new turbo v8 scooter , he will wait for you outside
MOTD , he won’t get you though , he only knows reverse , 😂😂

  3. Dontbsee where Murphy laid in to Noble, he merely said what we all know and inoffensively as well. Noble is not a starter

  4. We only win when he plays, he’s got a 97% pass accuracy rate , he bleeds claret and blue, he’s a legend, he’s loyal he is Mr West Ham oops sorry posted on wrong site 😆😆

  5. When did Murphy become a star lol, all these so called pundits, they are all a complete joke, Lawrenson the prize joker with his forecasts, nothing but Hot Air lining their own pockets!

  6. Noble is a dying breed, a one club man who rose through the ranks. For this he deserves eternal credit. And that includes stints in lower leagues too. But as with all good things, there comes a natural ending, and unfortunately for Nobes and us that time came 12 months ago. This guy has a great attitude and desire and deserves to continue his playing career leading a side, just not at West Ham. Love the guys commitment and drive and I wish him the very best with the rest of his career.

  7. Lol it always makes me laugh when every pundit is called clueless yet we think we know what were talking about 😁😁

  8. we only say it as we see it … no hidden agenda… we are not paid to be controversial and promote clicks . Mind you some of them are just idiots anyway so who cares .

Thank you Mark …. taxi for Mark ….. COYI

  9. Murphy’s opinions are worth as much and no more than the bloke in the pub.

  10. Most analysists and pundits know more about football in their big toe than you lot combined but you love yourselfs and you own opinions so much you can only call these ex footballers idiots.
If you think you know more than them you are deluded.
