New deal on cards for midfielder

Pedro scored his first ever Hammers game

West Ham are ready to offer a new deal to Pedro Obiang!

The midfielder is now recovering from an injury which saw him miss the last part of the 2016/17 campaign with interest reported from Everton, Ac Milan and Sevilla.

Earlier there was speculation that Liverpool were also interested but the Irons are determined to beat off inquiries for the player who was in the running for Hammer of the Year until his ankle injury injury in March.e

The club makes a practice of offering new terms to players who have seriously impressed as was the case with Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell soon after his arrival from Ipswich.

Now Obiang is in line for a deal with talks set to get underway although he remains tied down to the club until 2019 anyway.

He is believed to be earning around £35,000 a week but can expect to see that rise to around £50k- personal terms that would match his £12 million valuation.

  1. Frigging hell 35k to 50m that’s some pay rise 😀

  2. It says 50k not 50n lol

  3. Seems we are waiting for that cheap deal , yet again . To get in the front of the queue we need to be as Big and Brave as Goalkeeper . Stand up and block . Get your head kicked .
We need to make a deal somewhere that is impossible to refuse . Waiting games just leave us open to abuse by the megga rich clubs .
Just put in an offer that surmounts Thier price and get it done . The returns are too big to
    Ignore .
Seeing David Golds comments come to fruition fills me with dread . No chances for youngsters is a complete and utter nonsense . If we don’t steal a March on our rivals this season due to bargain basement deals then

  4. Continued ; keep getting keypad failure ….
If we don’t steal a March on our rivals this season due to bargain basement deals then we need to seriously consider the Davids incapable of delivering ., and leading the fans up the garden path .
Letting Oxford Reece on loan to a top German side is tantamount to irresponsible management ., with no ambition or forward planning . He will probably never come back to the LS as a result . Great planning . In the meantime we are hinging our bets on a Arsenal reject and a Spaniard yet to prove himself .
So far , everything seems totally out of control and pilot less .
I know it’s early doors but , to be honest , it doesn’t look good .
What is Bilics job , exactly ?? . We think , or hope Tottenham will suffer a bit this coming season because of Wembley . We are not offering any opposition and I suspect Spurs will do very nicely thank you . I am currently losing faith in our Board and our ability to attract talented payers .

  5. Wanna borrow my razor.
