Noble admits faults

6MarkNobleMark Noble has made it clear heads must not go down in the Hammers camp after the defeat by Watford.

And he has called on the players to make sure they keep going hard and repay the fans for the weekend.

Noble told the official site:  “That is the best we have played for a long while, in the first half. A couple of mistakes have cost us and we couldn’t recover.

“If we can go in 2-0 up at half-time it is a different game, but the mistakes have cost us in the end. There is a long way to go and we have to stay positive.

“We got punished and have to learn our lessons. We have still got new players coming in learning the league and we have a lot of players in their second season

“We have got players coming back from injury like Manu and Dimi. We have got to take the positives and played fantastic in the first half, but we conceded silly goals.”

  1. I thought we looked vulnerable before we scored.
I think the size of the new pitch is an issue for us at home. The lack of work rate and or fitness was probably the bigger issue particularly as we press.
Slav is going to have to think about that- I am sure he learnt a lot on Saturday.

  2. This self analysis from Mark Noble seems to happen quite regularly notwithstanding his leadership role. Please Mark look in the mirror before your next press release.
