Noble celebrates “the best he’s scored!

Mark Noble has hailed his goal against Leicester City as the best he’s ever scored.

The captain smashed an absolute screamer into the Leicester City net for the second goal and afterwards admitted it could have gone anywhere.

Speaking after the game he said: “It could have gone anywhere but it’s hit the post and gone in.

“That’s the best I’ve scored for sure, especially with what’s involved with this game.

“I hope on Thursday night against Man United we can perform like that but we want to try and finish as high as we can.

“After the last two results to come here against Leicester, sometimes when you’re safe you play a bit free. That was the opposite today. We should have been clear in the first half.”

For the record, the win win moved us five points clear of the relegation zone with two games to go, but the Hammers are safe as Swansea (18th) and Southampton (17th) play each other next.
