Noble update

Mark-Noble-640914The “was he dropped or was he injured?” mystery surrounding Mark Noble was persisting this morning (Tues) following the Hammers victory over Huddersfield.

And it seems that it may have been a mixture of both after the skipper failed to appear in the squad at all for last night’s crucial game.

We understand that Noble had already been omitted from Slav’s first team plans for Monday night before he tweaked a ligament on Friday and pulled out of training. He was due to take a place on the bench before the injury prevented him from playing any part.

It now remains to be seen whether the manager will call on him for the weekend game at the Hawthorns whilst he awaits details to emerge of the injury issue.

With Marko Arnautovic available after suspension and Andy Carroll producing a top performance, the manager is finally facing some very pleasant selection problems for the match against Tony Pulis West Bromwich Albion.

  1. I have heard via an indirect route that he has had a long-term knee problem – and would maybe explain why he has been taken off in so many games in the past year or so.

Maybe now, that his position in the team is under real threat, is a good time to try and get it sorted out!

  2. He turns like an oil tanker. Love him to bits though, a true Hammers legend

  3. Lazurus was changing the oil on Marks mobility scooter so he was out of commission for the evening.

    • 😂 yes , I replaced it with sugar 😂😂
MM ! He’s been carrying the same Injury from the slugs era lol ? He had a spell out and came back never the same player , its got worse over 4 years or so?
