Pachuca retain 30% of Enner Valencia

Valencia3Mexican side Pachuca retain 30% of West Ham signing Enner Valencia in the form of a sell on clause it has been confirmed.

Vice-president of Pachuca,  Andres Fassi say the club retain 30% of his rights saying ” It was a good deal for Enner, for Pachuca and for West Ham. We have faith in what he can achieve and that is why we retained 30 percent of his services.”

When the deal was first discussed the Mexican side stated, through their chairman Jesus Martinez they wished to keep hold of some of Valencia’s economic rights saying “We are seeking the possibility that is convenient for him and the club and that he is sold for the price that we like. We want to keep a percentage of the player in case he is sold in the future to another big team in Europe.”

Valencia is expected to join the first team squad out in Germany this weekend.

  1. Do they still get 30% if he is sold at a loss?
