West Ham are set to make urgent improvements to their Rush Green training facility

Manuel Pellegrini has been unimpressed by facilities at West Ham's Rush Green training centre

And it adds that a new changing area is to be built because the West Ham Ladies team — run by Jack Sullivan, the son of co-owner David — are to be located on the site.

The gym area will need to be enlarged because it cannot accommodate the first-team squad. In fact  Astroturf had to be laid in the corridor outside the gym to provide more room.

  1. Pelle wants everything in place to make sure he has the best chance of success and fair play to the board because they have given it to him , there is now no room for failure the futures bright the futures claret and blue!! Lol COYI !!!!!

  2. I remember Moyes saying in some interview at the end of the season that if he stayed as manager a few changes would be need to made. Upgrading Rush green was one of the things he mentioned needed to be done. So Sullivan listened obviously and to be fair to him, has made a few changes. Moyes included.

  3. Good news. We are far behind, you only have to look at the club from North London’s training facilities to see that.

For a premier league ground, our facilities should be top notch. Well worth the investment.

  4. When you look at the training facilities of some other clubs (Spurs, Chelsea, Brighton, Liver-pooh and soon Leicester, to name a few) it really is embarrasing how tin-pot ours is.
Perhaps Tripp’s got a spare £50mill lying around as I think it needs a little more than an extra portakabin and a lick of paint.
