Poll: Who should skipper West Ham?

With Mark Noble no longer looking an automatic first-team selection, thoughts turn to whom should be the on-pitch skipper in his absence.

Winston Reid currently has the armband but a growing number of views are being expressed on social network as to who is the obvious candidate.

Pablo Zabaleta’s name continually crops up and Joe Hart has been regularly mentioned in dispatches along with Cheik Kouyate.

So our latest poll asks a simple question: Who do you think should inherit the armband when Noble is not around?

It’s a tough one and some would say that it’s an irrelevancy because if you are a leader you don’t necessarily need to word captain written on a piece of cloth around your arm.

However, we want to hear your view:

  1. What is the point of this article? Noble was sub for one game..And you should know in his absence Winston Reid is the skipper…Seriously cmon you must have some better stuff to write than this?
