Ravel speculation starts again

Ravel MorrisonRavel Morrison could be set for a Premier League return.

The 23-year-old is currently with Lazio but is out of first team favour with much speculation he could soon be on his way.

The former England Under-21 international has made just eight appearances for the Serie A side since moving to Italy in 2015.

Lazio are now keen to send Morrison out on loan and, according to Calciomercato, the midfielder is likely to return to England.

The club don’t want to sell Morrison permanently but a temporary switch back to the Premier League could be on the cards during the January window.

  1. Would love him back with a decent manager and dicks to kick him up the harris we could get the best out of him and utilise him but then who would be dropped once we have our in form starting 11 i dont think.personally he was given a chance before dont no if that was to do woth the curtis situation or not i no most peope would hate to see him back but he does have the flair needed and with him payet and lanzini and antonio we would have one hell of a striker for with fletcher up top

    • Obviously its never going to happen though

      • I hope it does happen, we need more of his flair and with the right manager and he gets in line with all, we would be something special, it is such a shame they way he has let himself go and not realising what a player he could and still can be !

        • Totally agree both parties could benefit massively his still got a few years left and maybe he has unfinished business with us maybe he can knuckle down and dl what he and us k lw he can do

  2. Can’t see the David’s punting on him again, in Italy he has shown no sign of trying to pick up the language, frequently misses training and hasn’t been able to establish himself in the first team of a pretty poor Lazio. I would be surprised if any PL team took a punt on him because unfortunately he is lazy, what a waste of an unbelievable talent. I hoped for his sake Italy would help him to grow up and without the distractions he would put football first and start to fullfil the potential he had. Again though he couldn’t apply himself so he is on the move again.
