Harry Redknapp has warned off anybody from backing him to become the next West Ham boss.
The former Upton Park chief has been installed as a 4/1 favourite in some places to take over from Sam Allardyce at the end of the season.
But speaking exclusively to ClaretandHugh the 67 year old declared: “Tell everybody to keep their money in their pockets. It’s not going to happen.
“I don’t even know what’s going on at the club as far as Sam Allardyce is concerned. I read the reports but we will have to wait and see.
“What I do think is he has done a great job but predicting what is likely to happen in this game is a fool’s game. However, should a vacancy become available at the Boleyn I can promise you I won’t be filling it. ”
Here are the latest odds on the candidates to take over tat the Boleyn:

Thank god for that we do not want him back,
His day has gone the same as BFS they have the same CV won nothing sell all the young talent buy has beens but don’t think BFS has a dog with a private bank account ?
He has his agent though, amounts to the same thing.
No thanks, I prefer someone else. Give way for young manager with new ideas, international vision and ambitious.
With all due respect to Redknapp, but please stop with these old names.
IT’S TIME TO MOVE ON.
Yes matte but what about his “dicky knee”??
One thing is certain: he could not do the player-manager… but even with one leg he would be better than Nolan… 😉
NONONONONONONONooooooooooooo. Judasmust not return
Harry had his day at The Boleyn, aint going happen again.Im getting really ****ed off with all these ex-pro pundits telling everyone in the media West Ham will be crazy to get rid of Allardyce & look what happened to other clubs when he left. These so-called experts probably watch 7 or 8 of our matches in their entirety all season maximum then start banging on about BFS being the man for the job.Saying look what happened to teams when he left is a crap arguement.Bolton were punching above their weight but never had the financial powers to push on.Newcastle have been in chaos for years & any manager would have been left in a nightmare scenario there & Blackburn were taking over by a load of lunatic chicken killers who have mad crazy decisions off he field ever since.Maybe non-supporting ex-pros think its fine for The Irons to finish midtable every year under Allardyce but we the supporters who watch his decisions week in week out know he is not this god they make him out to be.With the right manager there is no reason why we cant move onwards & upwards & it can happen without Allardyce. These pundits dont care for our club so its easy for them to take the safety first option of writing that we should give him another contract.Maybe if they say he should go they wont get an invite to his next house party.
