Redknapp jnr raves over Irons display

jredknappFormer Liverpool stars Jamie Redknapp and Jamie Carragher paid tribute to the Hammers for a “really big performance” at Liverpool.

Redknapp – commenting on Sky Sports where he was acting as a match pundit said: “Make no mistake. I was expecting them to be beaten comfortably but they showed real togetherness and it was a brilliant team performance.”

And he added: “The manager questioned their ability and aptitude after last week’s game and they put in a real shift for him.”

  1. You need that bit of luck . But , they played like they meant it … thats different to previous displays .
West Ham are becoming Liverpools bogey team .

  2. Carroll should have started . He completely disrupted Liverpool when he came on .
Could have been three points but , that’s football . At least we showed some fight and let other teams see we are not down and out .
Still think Bilic is not the right man for the job ; why ? ., because Carroll should have been given the whole 90mins . That’s it .

    • What’s up kevin been sharpening those sack Bilic knives all afternoon while the rest of us were singing his name this afternoon?

  3. I don’t think we can expect Carroll to give us 3 lots of 90 mins in 6 days after so long out. He’s getting there…..providing he can stay fit. There, I said it. Let’s move on and get something from the next few games.

    • totally agree. It would be irrisponsible to ask too much of Carroll considering his injury record.
I’m sure he will play a bigger part against Burnley though.

  4. We sack Carroll cos he’s coming back to fitness because he didn’t get 90 mins? Err sorry can u run that by me again? A 2-2 draw at Liverpool and we sack Slav. Dunno why I’m commenting really – madness

  5. Last four League matches against four of the best teams in country.Should have taken something from the spuds & gave them a real fright.Draws at Old Trafford & Anfield, not many teams will get results at either ground.
Yes one capitulation againt the gooners but three away games we did pretty damn well in but i come on here yesterday & i am reading how many points Bilic needs in the next four games so some of you dont axe him..its laughable 😉
