Report: Allardyce eyeing Hammers striker

Sam-Allardyce1Sam Allardyce has been surprisingly linked with a possible move for Dafra Sakho in the January transfer indow.

The former Hammers boss has brought in Cenk Tosun  in a deal worth £27 million but he still wants to add another forward and Sakho is reported to be on his radar.

The Hammers are ready to sell the Senegal international and although a fogure of £15 million has been mentioned they will take a minimum of £10 million.

And the club is confident that the striker will now pass a medical after hisinjury problems which saw him fail one at West Brom when Tony Pulis attempted to sign him.

According to some reports, Allardyce had originally considered taking Sakho to GoodisonPark as part of a deal which would have seen Kevin Mirallas going the other way.

The Belgian who needs to play as regularly as possible during the second half of the season to keep alive his World Cup hopes has however since linked up with his former club Olympiacos.

  1. If they even considered this then they would truly be a door handle away from the nuthouse !!
If he goes then its to France or anywhere else but defo not a prem team and especially not the blue lids ffs ? 10 mill is a snip for a player in today’s market of his pedigree , he’s 30 mill all day long in the monopoly money market now , what a waste of a player , sad really , I read this yesterday and thought here we go again , we sell our players for peanuts and panic buy and pay Ott for loans ? How typical of west ham and the way we do business ! Let’s hope its paper talk !!😎

  2. Definitely not a good idea to sell to our near rivals. He will work hard and score goals for them.
It’s possible he will come back for Kouyate too. Sam was instrumental in signing him for West Ham. We should sell both to non-English teams.
I want them out because they have shown for 18 months ( at least ) they want out. That would exorcise the destructive Payet sysndrome.

  3. Give them Sakho and Kouyate for mirallas and Schneiderlin.
    Done.

  4. too late for Mirallas, already gone out on loan to Olympiakos

  5. Agree again shouldn’t sell to Rivals but that’s inky way will get close to £15m but Sam knows what he is capable off so wouldn’t surprise me if is true. PL proven CF who is founded w pace.
Sounds like what we need. I’d rather just keep him & use him if we can only seel outside PL for £2-£3m be worth more to is on Pitch. His attitude as been fine under Moyes & can’t blame him for wanting to leave bases off pay & lack of play.
Keep him or sell outside or swap for Mark Urh of Hoffenheim. But like Laz said Sakho light be happy to let contract run out & pick where he wants in France or elsewhere.
