Andre Ayew’s likely move to West Ham after a £20 million bid from the Hammers is of course old news to ClaretandHugh readers.
We ran this story 24 hours ago along with inside information that despite the club agreeing terms and the fee required by Swansea the Welsh club was maintaining a silence.
Sky “sources” are now claiming the same declaring on the website: “West Ham have made a £20m bid for Swansea forward Andre Ayew, according to Sky sources.”
The silence on the deal has Sky implying this may be because the club are keen to secure attacking reinforcements before allowing the 26-year-old to leave.
SKY reported on this yesterday along with several other sources.
