Report: Hammers bid for two midfielders

|

Italian media have claimed that West Ham have made a €40m bid for Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri and a €20m bid for Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro.

The 26-year-old  Ivorian footballer has a €40m release clause in his contract which expires on July 15th, clubs so clubs have three weeks without having to negotiate a fee with the French club.

Seri has been continuously linked with likes of Arsenal and Chelsea but there has been very little movement in terms of bids but  TuttoMercatoWeb today claim an Exclusive saying that West Ham have been the first to make a formal offer.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport.com claims that West Ham are in pole position to sign Stefano Sturaro from Juventus saying that the Hammers put in a €18m with €2m of add-ons.

It remains to be seen whether there is any truth in either of these reported bids as West Ham wait on news from Lazio about their take it or leave it offer for Felipe Anderson.
