Report: Hammers eye Liverpool striker

Danny-Ings-815625Liverpool striker Danny Ings is reported to be on the Hammer radar as a possible loan signing in January but they are likely to have to fight off interest from West Brom, Brighton and Crystal Palace.

Ings is looking to resurrect his career after two years on the sidelines with injuries and Liverpool boss Jugen Klopp indicated he was ready to to let him out on loan when he said: “He is not far away. The best news is he is really fit.

“But the problem is we have strikers who have been training for four to five months and he has been in and out.

“In his position we have Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge, Dominic Solanke and they were always involved, more or less. I cannot make the squad bigger. But Danny looks really good, sharp, everything.”

  1. Come on! I know we are going to be scraping the barrel but another injury prone striker? Surely not..

  2. 😂😂 yep 64 , gets injured first game and we pay the loan fee for the rest of the season and wages ! Will this club ever learn ! Typical west ham as said earlier in posts , loans and gambles but Moyes is his own man I hope and tell sully to go stick his head in a dark place and gets who he wants ! 30 mill petty cash , 12 million ayew ? , £10-50 for Carroll and bring 3 players in 4 preferably but no loans of teams players getting shafted to boot !!! If you’re going to loan get quality ! The fit kind ! No more chance signings ffs 😉

  3. He should be getting bench places at Liverpool not loaned out ? The more you think about it klopp wants him out , watch it hammers ! Beware scouse rejects ! Once bitten lol 😉

  4. This won’t happen just more paper talk with the window coming up, the same story came out a few weeks ago, no doubt a rehash of that.

  5. its getting beyond a joke, with this crap of another striker

  6. So this is the ‘next level’ is it?
TBH I agree with No 32, but it p1sses me off feeling that this IS the sort of calibre player Sully’s looking at.

  7. Save your reactions for real news. The next few weeks are gonna be full of speculative, rehashed stories. No need to get into a state about things that mostly won’t happen.

  8. Ings i like but to injury prone been playing in U23s & Toni been scoring much more then him.
    Newcastle & Burnely linked too
I do worry that Moyes likes British players & that will cost more but not necessaryily get u any better player

    • If we sell AC & Sakho which seems possible Okaka from Watford who has scored when pkaued is bog physical CF would be a decent about & could leave in Jan
