West Ham are tracking West Bromwich Albion defender Ahmed Hegazi, ESPN claim. West Brom face a battle to keep hold of Hegazi this summer following their relegation from the Premier League. Reports have suggested that Hegazi has a £2.5 million release clause in his contract, but those reports are wide of the mark.

Hegazi, who is set to feature for Egypt at next month’s World Cup finals. Hegazi joined West Brom from Al Ahly originally on loan in the summer of 2017, before making the move permanent five months later.
