  1. He is a player the club have been after for a long time, Zidane is actually willing to sell him with a buyback clause, depending on which reports you read 😉 he has a lot of skill that’s for sure, two good feet and tricks galore, it’s whether or not he can translate that too playing in a team, he reminds me a lot of Joe Cole in that regard, if Zidane can’t make him into the finished article I wonder who can, then according to the press reports he is demanding 80k a week … Let’s see what happens but don’t hold your breath on this one.

  2. Off the topic but I see lacazette banged in a hat trick today :'(

  3. Yeah i saw that this afternoon away at Nancy.Anyone can score against 11 Nancys though 🙂

  4. Does anyone know the rules on loans this season? Have the rules changed or are we allowed more due to the Europa or where we finished last season?

I believe last season we were allowed a max of 2 domestic loans (Moses and Jenks) and a max of 2 overseas (Lanzini and Song).

  5. If he signs where will he get a place in the team ?
Real want him to play regularly and with Payet and Lanzini probably going to fight for the same role and others fighting for a regular spot in the attacking formation I can’t see it,
Plus I would like our young talent Samulsun and Quina given those chances,
Now if he signs permanently that’s different,he would have time to grow within the club and the buy back rule only maters if you sell him,

  6. Why are we always going for midfielders weights defenders we need particularly a right back or 2 so that Antonio can be played in is correct position. If Bilic persists in playing him out of position then I’m afraid we will get nowhere. If Antonio plays right back against Chelsea then we will get torn to shreds by hazard and we will ultimately be put at risk I’m losing the game. Why cannotBilic see that by playing Antonio at right back is a huge

    • You and everyone else outside of Bilic and his team Mick I haven’t heard a single commentator say that Antonio looks good as a right back or even that he shows signs that he could be, he is a right winger and brilliant in that position.

    • Did you see what Pep Guardiola did when he fielded his full backs? They seemed to be filling the defensive midfield slots. All very odd.

I’m hoping Byram gets his reward of the RB slot after a good pre season at LB.

Depends if the new LB is ready tho.
