Revealed: The player fans would most like to see gone!

Andy Carroll is the player West Ham fans would most like to see leave the club in January’s transfer window.

ClaretadHugh polled it’s followers to discover which of the squad they would most want to see through the exit door and the Geordie striker was the most popular choice.

CandH said in launching the poll: “This will be one of the most critical January transfer windows in recent West Ham history but departures could be as important (at the right price) as arrivals.

Which player would you allow to leave in those circumstances?

And currently after a total of 2,456 votes have been counted Carroll is the most popular pick.

Twenty five per cent of those voting went for him with Angelo Ogbonna currently in second place having taken 16 per cent of the vote.

Diafra Sakho  was wanted out by 12 per cent, Andre Ayew by 11 per cent and and Marko Arnautovic 10 per cent.

The remainder of the votes were taken by Pedro Obiang, Pablo Zabaeta, Mark Noble, Aaron Crsswell and Winston Reid.

There’s still time to cast your vote @https://www.claretandhugh.info/poll-which-player-would-you-allow-to-leave-in-jnauary/

  1. Still think Sakho can do a job if given a run of games and gets rid of his petulant antics.Ogbonna is a disaster every match and Obiang and Cresswell are a shadow of the players of a season or 2 back as is Kouyate.Zaba and Noble are in their twilight years which is difficult when the game is all about speed now.Carroll looks done and Hart is as unpredictable as the rest.Good luck Mr Moyes now you know the size of the task.

  2. Agree with ’64’s pithy evaluation in all but one respect: isn’t it more a case of good luck Hammers knowing the size of the task and that Mr Moyes is the Board/owners idea of a ‘messiah’?

    • I am dreading the game against City.I think we will be shown up as a Championship side rather than a Premier League team.As for the “messiah”. Laz told me “he’s a very naughty boy” lol. I think our fate in the Premier League will be dictated by where we are at Christmas.I also think the board erred in appointing Moyes. Wesley would have done the job better in my opinion.Looks like the “slug” is at Everton now and not particularly popular either. He is calling for unity.Good grief.

  3. I voted Ogbonna. For me he would go make way for another CB

  4. Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you’re chewing on lifes gristle
    Don’t grumble give a whistle
And this,ll help things turn out for the best
And , Always look on the bright side of life ¶ ¶¶ ¶¶¶¶¶¶

  5. And still no vote on the competence of the board?
Anyone would think this site isn’t as impartial as you would have us believe😚
Still, I don’t suppose turkey’s vote for Christmas.
