Sakho ahead of Carroll

sakhoExclusive

West Ham are still unable to put  a date on Andy Carroll’s return and refuse to take a single chance with the  injury-ravaged striker.

And ClaretandHugh has learned this morning that Diafra Sakho is in line to make a first team comeback before the big man.

We raised the issue in a story on the site yesterday and have been told this morning that Sakho is now ahead of the Geordie whose lifestyle issues have become a regular feature of life over the last few weeks.

A well placed source said: “Sak is almost back up to speed. We don’t want to put dates on things because that only creates disappointment but he is ahead of Andy at this stage.

“We would hope to have him back within a week or a fortnight but the key word there is ‘hope’ although he has done very well and showed real determination to get himelf right.”

  1. So Carroll should have originally been back mid to late Sept.We are now heading towards November with no return in site.Someone somewhere is taking the pee out of us i think hehe

  2. We really do need to find a way of getting rid of AC.Its all well & good saying he offers us something different when he plays but he is never on the pitch to offer this something different. The situation has gone well beyond a joke, its a bloody pantomime.
