Sakho happy to see Zarate back

Mauro-Zarate-West-Ham-UnitedDiafra Sakho and David Gold are both very happy to see Mauro Zarate back at Upton Park.

The skilful front man had a tough first season under Sam Allardyce and was farmed out to Queens Park Rangers in January where he was ‘branded’ unfit and placed on  special fitness regime.

But he looked in great nick last night as the team cruised past Lusitans and Sakho said: “Today I’m happy that Mauro was back.”

And he is pleased that Morgan Amalfitano was involved too adding: “It’s good for the striker to have two players like them assisting them.”

He added: “Zarate assisted the first, and Amalfitano the second. They are important players for passes and assists for me.”

  1. Yep,player makers are always useful in a team.Well any team that isnt run by our ex-manager that is 😀

  2. Think Diafra is going to get many more chance created for him this season, lets hope he still has his shooting boots on when it comes to the Premiership.I reckon he will have,he looks a class act.

  3. Not sure how often he will see mauro in the team though. He’ll make a good back up

  4. Diafra is class on and off the pitch, with a good run of fitness I think he’ll have to raise his 20 goal target

  5. This is what we missed at the end of last season
Biggest mistake BFS made sending him out on loan
He just needs to know when to release the ball and make some killing passes on the edge of the box
