‘Scrooge’ Moysie puts the block on

|

David-Moyes-1147952West Ham boss David Moyes is playing Scrooge this Christmas by banning the annual festive bash.

Given the club’s position through that seems to be exactly the right attitude as the team go hinting for presents to the fans in the form of POINTS!

The manager – discussing the Christmas party situation – said: I don’t need to tell the players because they haven’t asked me for one.

“It’s not been brought to me so I assume nothing is happening and if they do go out I’m sure my spies which I’ve got in London will find out.

I’ve gt a lot of them around – I’ve got them placed. But if we are successful I will make sure the players have a day when they can enjoy themselves somewhere between now and the end of the season.”

Moyes declares himself a great one for team spirit but adds: “My preference would be for the players to take their wives out for dinner. It keeps them under wraps.”

Lets hope they don’t let their manager down, we have a great opportunity with the fixtures we have to capitalise and complete the turnaround at the moment it has only just begun.
