Sky pundit predicts Happy Hammers finish

Sky Pundit Paul Merson predicts that West Ham will finish their finish with a home win over Everton and former Hammers boss Sam Allardyce.

Merson told the Sky Sports website “It depends what teams the managers put out but when I was playing for nothing on the final game of the season, I went out there and expressed myself.

They’ve picked up a bit recently, West Ham, and Everton aren’t going to score a load of goals away from home. There’s still some grumbling against the manager too. Narrow home win.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-0 to West Ham”

West Ham can mathematically still achieve a top ten finish but need for results to seriously go our way.  If the Hammers win they would finish the season with 42 Premier League points. To get the tenth place they will need Newcastle to lose to Chelsea, Palace to lose to West Brom, Bournemouth to lose to Burnley, Watford to lose to Manchester United and Brighton to lose or draw with Liverpool.  Each Premier League place is worth  £2m.

  1. I want us to win & I would like us to play well. I would like some of the players who have really made a difference & kept us up to have good performances- Arnie, Zabaleta, Rice. Also Noble just because he always does his best & cares about the club- & also so that people quickly for get his embarrassing mismatch last night! But I have to be honest I don’t want us to finish tenth. I don’t think we will, but we have not been a top half side & it would make it easier for the owners to put off (again) the changes needed at the club & the spending that everyone can see is needed. I think we all expected action last summer to avoid another mess like last season. Instead we have had an even worse season. Next time it will be the drop unless things change. Things have to change!!
