Bilic praises the ‘good job’ done on Irons transfers

Slaven+Bilic+Liverpool+v+West+Ham+United+Premier+9IRRa1eXNpylSlaven Bilic has expressed his delight at the club’s new arrivals!

The Irons manager will now settle down to work with his revamped squad of players ahead of the Newcastle match, having expressed his thanks everyone who was involved in getting a string of deals across the line – “especially the board,”

He told www.whufc.com: “I think we’ve done a good job. It looks like the last day was a hectic day, but really the deals were done a few days ago and we just needed the papers [finalised].

“We knew from the start what we wanted and for a few players we waited until the end because it was impossible to get them done earlier because of their clubs.

“We didn’t want to just get the numbers, but the quality ones and I’m really glad that we’ve done that.

“We had some positions in which we needed some quality additions and more numbers. We didn’t want to just get the numbers, but the quality ones and I’m really glad that we’ve done that.

“I wish all the new signings a welcome and hopefully both sides enjoy it – the players and the Club. We have a big expectation of them, they know that and that’s why they’ve come.”
