Sullivan confirms he’s to sue Sporting Lisbon

|

David-Sullivan-001David Sullivan has tonight confirmed he intends to go ahead with legal action against Sporting Lisbon and their  director of communications, Nuno Saraiva, who claimed West Ham made no formal written offer to sign the midfielder William Carvalho.

Saraiva also dubbed the Hammers co chairman a “parastite” and “liar” which Sullivan claims has left him no alternative but to sue.

Speaking exclusively to Claretandhugh a few moments ago he said: “I will be starting legal action against Sporting Lisbon and their media director.I hate suing people in football, but accusation is so strong we have no alternative.”

However, he says he is not looking for any financial reward adding: “We’ll just look for a retraction and apology and a payment to charity. I’m not looking for financial gain.”

Saraiva had said said:  “David Sullivan is lying. Sporting Clube de Portugal, as its chairman has already said, has received no offer for the player William Carvalho.”

And he went on to make made derogatory remarks about Sullivan, and how he made his money through the adult entertainment business, and said he needed to provide proof backing up his claim that a bid had been made.”

if found guilty perhaps we could insist on them taking Ayew in part payment of the fine 😂

Hasn’t he missed the deadline for a lawsuit?

I’ll bet it never gets to court. It’s all bull ****. If there was an offer then there were lies made up about further bids to mislead fans into thinking we were still in the market for Carvalho right up to the deadline.
I got it the moment I realised in DS’s article blaming Bilic for not making better signings, when he said that Sporting called to accept the original offer. Who does that when we were feeding stories that further bids were going in etc…
It was all bull **** and whether an offer was made or not is not the point. DS is a disgraceful blame shifter and liar. And how can an ex-jailbird (for living off immoral earnings) and pornographer claim compensation for loss of reputation.
    Bull ****, bull ****, bull ****!

sounds like a donald Trumpish reaction…

A good friend of mine who lives in Portugal acknowledges the directors at Sporting are slimy…but she adds they (directors, owners…) all are. She also told me this piece of information I found interesting : Carvalho wanted a move, now he is stuck, so he is unhappy. However (hold your breath), he did NOT fancy coming to West Ham. Regardless of this saga, Sporting is on a winning streak, so they are in a positive spiral. Unlike us…
