Sullivan Issa comment misunderstanding

Reports that Dave Sullivan Junior has hinted at West Ham’s next signing have been corrected the younger generation of Hammers saying that Dave’s use of the word ISSA is just youth slang.

Sullivan Junior is on holiday in Marbella, Spain with his brother Jack and father posted a photo in a restaurant saying ‘Issa a vibe’

The comment was picked up by the media as being a hint that an Issa Diop deal could be close.

In fact, Issa is a slang term which means “It’s a.” The slang was popularized by Hip-Hop artist 21 Savage during an interview with DJ Vlad in which he was asked what the tattoo on his forehead was, Savage replied Issa knife (It’s a knife).

West Ham are believed to hold some interest in Toulouse defender Issa Diop who has been heavily linked but in this case, we are told there is no cryptic message or hint and Sullivan Junior was just commenting on the Vibe of the Marbella reasturant.
