Sullivan on City: “I’m hopeful – you never know”

sullivan_5535cRealist David Sullivan is approaching the Saturday lunchtime game with great caution!

The co-chairman isn’t a man to deal in cliches which is why we hear nothing about “this game showing us how far the Irons have come this season.”

He admits that he “enjoyed wining in the West Ham Way” at Burnley and is obviously hopeful that more of the same is on the way against the City millionaires.

And although he refuses to get carried away, speaking exclusively to ClaretandHugh, he said: “ I think we are a far better team than last season as we have so many more attacking options.”

“It’s a very hard game, they are a £300/£400m team.

“They murdered us four times last season. I’d love to get so something from them. I’m hopeful rather than expectant, but in football you never know.”
