Let’s be honest, many of us feared the prospect of a West Ham team without Declan Rice. Not only was Declan our captain, but he was a player who could seemingly do everything.
David Moyes has admitted that the Declan Rice delay has hindered West Ham’s transfer window.
Whilst I welcome any new additions to the Hammers squad, I’m a little concerned over the arrival of Denis Zakaria. The Swiss international is a decent player but Zakaria can’t replace Declan Rice at the London Stadium.
So finally Declan Rice is a former Hammer unless some late drama takes place during his medical on Friday which is highly unlikely.
