Hammers internationals call to duty

ennerFour West Ham United  first team players have received international call ups for their respective countries this week.

However as reported earlier Joey O’Brien has returned from the Republic of Ireland camp to received treatment after sustaining a knee injury.

Summer £12m record signing  Enner Valencia is in the Ecuador squad for friendlies against Bolivia on Saturday, September 6th and Brazil on Tuesday, September 9th in  East Rutherford, New Jersey despite not starting last Saturday’s game against Southampton.

Defender Reid  has flown out to Doha,  Qatar, where he is likely to captain a New Zealand team who will face Uzbekistan on Monday, September 8th.

New signing Cheikhou Kouyate has been called up by Senegal to face Egypt and Botswana in their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations Group G qualifiers. The Eqypt match will take place in Dakar on Friday 5th September with the  Botswana match  in Gaborone on Wednesday 10th September.
