Unhappy Carroll admits “It’s upsetting”

|

andy-carroll_3354672Andy Carroll has joined boss Slaven Bilic in admitting his disappointment at today’s result against Chelsea.

Speaking to the official website he said: “It is disappointing to only come away with draw. We conceded just before half-time and then just before the end which is upsetting.

“But we worked really hard and we did deserve the win and I as said it was a bit upsetting to only get a point.
I have had a look back at the penalty incident and it looked just outside of the area so it was unlucky that they were given a penalty.

“I said last week there are not many teams who come away from the big grounds disappointed to have only got a draw. Last week we had that feeling against Manchester United and it is the same against Chelsea that we have not got the three points.

“All the lads 100 per cent want us to get into Europe. That is what we are pushing for. It would have been nice for us to come away with a victory and push us even higher up the table but we will have a nice break and come back and work harder from there.”

AC proved today that he is a great impact sub
Sakho showed why he is the number one CF and Valencia plays better alongside him
The team sheet looked world class today,
We again were the best team on the pitch

i can take the bad decisions against us to a point (never a penalty in this world) but Fàbregas in my mind was deliberately trying at every point to get the ref to either get anyone booked or sent off. did anyone him after the penalty as adrian was rightly peed off and kicked the ball away so what does Fàbregas do make a beeline for the ref to let him know about it cos i,m sure the ref didnt see it or wasnt bothered up untill that point what a discusting player

Wasn’t surprised to see him escape without a second yellow right at the end for his part in the melée around our late free kick. Referee was not only poor but cowardly too.

I felt a draw was on the cards today, so wasn’t that surprised but the way it happened was a real disappointment.
On Andy. I have written since before he returned from his major injury that his future was as an impact sub. With his aggression and determination around the box he is a ‘natural’ to
Create havoc in a tiring defence. At the same time it minimizes his risk of another serious injury.

Last week Carroll had at least three stories in the media which make it look as if West Ham is just about him? look at the players we have who are streets ahead of him in class are they contacting the media every day, simple answer is NO!

Yes he took the goal well yesterday but that is his height, and it was only his Fourth goal this season, little behind the likes of Vardy, Kane and Lukaku who are in a different class they are not one trick pony’s with their heads only. Perhaps Andy is an nigh impact player, but on his salary? no.
